About Tom
Tom is a rising star at Bernie Lewis Home Loans, he’s a young broker who’s intelligent and highly capable. Coming from a background in strength training, his first real passion, Tom is a motivated guy that pushes to get the most out of his body and mind. He’s recently caught the golf bug, so spends the bulk of his free time on the green, much to his girlfriend’s frustration. Tom loves relaxing at a good AirBnb or golf resort, if he can get a break in from his bustling schedule. He is adept in the art of pet naming too, with two dogs named Fred & Wilma, and a cat called Moira… how brilliant!
Tom graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Finance, and quickly began his career as a Business Banker. After dipping his toes in the waters of a big 4 bank, Tom decided to try his hand at mortgage broking with the Bernie Lewis Home Loans family. He established his own personal training business before he could buy a beer at age 17, which displays his endeavour to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Tom has an extraordinary capacity to absorb information and strategize with foresight. He provides a holistic approach to finance broking, enabling him to establish long-term financial success and personal growth for his clients.
Tom genuinely just loves helping people, and he doesn’t just use words lightly… he is proven to put them into action. All you have to do to find confirmation of Tom’s follow through is to ask our owner Scott Matthews, whom he trains (punishes) in the gym to improve his health and fitness. Tom is an excellent collaborator and creates a welcoming environment for his clients, which is his key to a beneficial and lasting professional relationship.
