About Tom
Tom started with Bernie Lewis Home Loans in 2017, joining his father Michael Kennedy in the family trade of mortgage broking. He loves music, plays guitar, and writes songs. Since becoming a dad in 2022, Tom enjoys nothing more than spending time with his little family, keeping mind and body fit, and soaking up the laid-back lifestyle Adelaide has to offer.
While completing his degree in Management & Marketing at UniSA, Tom eagerly jumped into mortgage broking alongside his dad, inspired by the positive impact he had made on the lives of Australian homeowners. He has passionately tackled finance ever since, developing into a skilled adviser and key contributor to the Bernie Lewis Home Loans family. Tom was awarded the Bernie Lewis Compliance Award in 2022, recognising his commitment to high standards of responsible lending.
Tom is an easy-going guy with a warm and honest approach. He embraces the opportunity to help all kinds of people navigate their way to homeownership in an enjoyable manner. Having previously built his own home, he specialises in construction lending and can relate to those dreaming of building a new property. He strives to alleviate the stress associated with the home buying process, keeping finance as smooth and painless as possible.
With Michael taking more of a back seat these days, Tom is now the face of Team Kennedy. With him on board, the exceptional service Michael and Tom have provided to their clients for almost two decades will continue for many years to come.
