About Jason
Jason Garrett is a stand-up guy with a genuine knack to make you laugh whilst simultaneously feeling totally at ease with his lending expertise and compassionate service. He is definitely a football (soccer) tragic, and loves being on the pitch playing or coaching his youngest son from the sideline. Jason is a hospitable family man who enjoys cooking up a storm and indulging in a glass of red with friends. When given the chance, Jason and his family often travel back to the UK and Ireland to catch up with their relatives from the motherland. Jason has 3 teenage children, yet somehow still manages to attack his role as broker with energy and a smile.
Hailing from the UK, Jason started his finance and banking career in 1988 with Barclays. He became a mobile mortgage broker in 1997, covering the vast central south area of the UK. Jason emigrated to Australia in 2004 and shortly after was offered a position at Bernie Lewis by the great man himself. We’re extremely lucky to have Jason and his extensive knowledge of the Australian mortgage and finance market, and how we here can be influenced by the trends seen in global markets.
Jason is absolutely an asset to his clients and has a real talent for strategically structuring finance and identifying accurate solutions based on each individual scenario. He’s built a reputation as a man who doesn’t like to forfeit and will leave no stone unturned to find the best option for his clients. Jason is always seeking to further his knowledge of the market, which pays dividends for his clients as he always has the unique loan offerings top of mind. Jason provides a lending experience that eliminates confusion, delivers cost effective solutions, and most importantly leaves you a happy and relaxed homeowner.

Bernie Lewis were instrumental in helping us get our first “low deposit” joint mortgage with Homestart (3 years ago) and now when we were ready to re-finance Jason was top of mind when I needed advice and he helped us get to the desired fixed rate mortgage we were after. This has saved us approx. $350 a fortnight in repayments and also allowed us to borrow enough extra to improve the the value of our house further with a new pergola and paving etc.
