About Scott

Scott is the new Owner of Bernie Lewis Home Loans, and we are thrilled to have him lead us forward into a very promising future.

Scott is family first, a man who adores his wife and children, and of course his Old English Sheep dog Zoe. He relishes just being present and together with his clan, enjoying a cheeky vino on the weekend with his wife, whilst battling for board game supremacy with the kids. Scott loves to feel the sand between the toes, whether it’s a camping adventure, a breezy beach walk, or a spot of not so successful fishing. He is mad about his footy, and still manages to lace up the boots at 45 years of age…albeit his body needs a bit more ice and stretching to keep it intact these days.

Scott is a former South Australia Police (SAPOL) Constable, who spent 5 years in the force. Whilst working in SAPOL, he completed his qualifications to become a Mortgage Broker then juggled both careers for two years as he transitioned into lending full-time. In 2008, Scott started Finance Life, his own bespoke finance company which grew exponentially over the years to establish Scott as one of the country’s top brokers. As a passionate Finance Broker and South Australian, Scott sought the opportunity to join our iconic brand in 2021, becoming sole owner of Bernie Lewis Home Loans at the start of 2022.

Scott is a leading figure in commercial and residential finance, this status is not only evident in his professional results, but also by the number of real relationships he naturally forges with his clients. He has the ability to think in complex patterns and provide real solutions. Scott isn’t a transactional type of broker; he places utmost importance in contributing to every step of a client’s long-term financial growth.

Scott is supported by a superb team – Michelle, Sarah, and Lisa. Scott and the team work hard, with determined effort and energy to see his clients achieve their own personal success.
