Bernie Lewis, the South Australian based financial services company, has been recognised across the national mortgage broking industry for its business excellence.
It has been short-listed for a prestigious Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) Business of the Year Award. The award winner will be announced on March 4.
The company, founded by the late Bernie Lewis, has assisted more than 80,000 clients with mortgage broking services since 1987. In more recent times it has expanded to provide lifetime financial advice to clients across home loans, insurance, superannuation and investments.
Executive Chairman, Mark Lewis, said the business had grown to employ 80 staff across five metropolitan Adelaide locations with $2.85 billion in mortgages and wealth under advice.
“We stand by the experience and expertise of our advisers each of whom has a minimum qualification of a Diploma in Mortgage Broking and a personal commitment to on-going professional development,” Mr Lewis said.
